Ta-Ta Shakedown
The A’Salt Creek Roller Girls present the Ta-Ta Shake Down to support breast cancer awareness! The October 22nd bout out will be against Choice City Rebels from Fort Collins, Colorado at the Fairgrounds Industrial Building. This bout marks the close of the 2011 season, so don’t miss your chance to see ACRG in action!
Casper’s only roller derby team traveled to Fort Collins on October 1 for the first meeting in this home and home series and the first ever bout between these two leagues. Choice City handily defeated ACRG by a score of 320-26. A’Salt Creek looks to narrow this margin in their own arena where they have been strong this season, going 4-2 at home.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation’s Angels program which provides support to cancer patients and their caregivers. The doors open at 6 pm, the first jam goes at 7. Tickets are $15 for 11 and up, $5 for children 4-10. Wear pink to support cancer awareness and you can purchase tickets at the door for $10. Each presale ticket comes with a free entry in a raffle for a gift basket.
